One way we do that is by tracking the rate of MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus present in our hospital. By remaining vigilant, we are determined to keep hospital-acquired infections as low as possible.
At Humber River Regional Hospital, we have a team dedicated to Infection Prevention and Control working in partnership with all of our care providers to protect our patients and reduce the spread of hospital-acquired infections like MRSA.
