March 27th marked an important (and long-awaited!) milestone for our project as the first sign was unveiled on the site. Or check it out for yourself next time you’re driving by – it’s on the north side of Highway 401 just west of Keele Street.

Our redevelopment plans continue to move forward, and the planning and design phases are proceeding as we look towards moving day and our new hospital. By working together, hospital and community, we have the opportunity to create the finest, most technologically-advanced hospital in Ontario. It will be hard work. But it will be exciting work. It will bring to this community a terrific new hospital facility, and more. It will bring about much needed social change to a part of the GTA that needs it. Jobs. Neighbourhood renewal. Strengthened community partnerships.
